We are talking about Ukrainians under temporary protection for the first half of this year. The costs of supporting Ukrainians amounted to 7.3 billion crowns. The increase to the budget is 4.4 billion crowns.

Minister of Labor Marian Yurechka emphasized that Ukrainian refugees bring more income to the budget than is spent on their support:

“They are a benefit, not a burden to us.”
