Germany announced an increase in the level of employment of Ukrainians

The head of the German Chancellor’s Office, Wolfgang Schmidt, announced an increase in the share of employed Ukrainian refugees over the past year. Last year, the share of Ukrainians of working age who have a job in Germany was 23%, but now this indicator has increased to 29%.

According to Schmidt, the German government has also done a lot to overcome the shortage of skilled labor. Starting next year, Germany will have “the most modern immigration legislation in the world,” he announced.
