Most often, entrepreneurs hire compatriots from Ukraine. According to CEIDG data, most Ukrainians register businesses in industries where there is a shortage of labor. About 20% of enterprises operate in the construction sector, IT companies, service provision and trade are also popular.
The business of Ukrainian women in the cosmetic and hairdressing spheres, which are often aimed at Ukrainian female clients, is common. Many Ukrainian entrepreneurs prefer businesses that require minimal capital expenditure, such as online trading.
During 2023, Ukrainian entrepreneurs contributed more than 5 billion zlotys in taxes to the Polish budget.
