According to the “I’m Ukrainian mobile app” project (a digital community for uniting our compatriots currently living abroad), 533 enterprises in 32 countries are registered on the Ukrainian business map.
Most Ukrainians open businesses in Poland, Germany, the Czech Republic and Great Britain. The most common directions are the service sector, restaurants, and the beauty industry.
Ukrainian restaurants abroad mostly offer Ukrainian cuisine, coffee shops or sushi. The second most popular is the provision of online services, in particular, consultations of psychologists, target specialists and photographers.
Pilates, yoga, and massages are also in demand. The number of Ukrainian bookstores is growing.
Among the non-standard businesses are a wood-fired bathhouse in Croatia, popular among Ukrainians, and the production of Ukrainian soap in Northern Ireland from infusions of herbs and beekeeping products.
